With a goal to build community, our main focus is not on a polished performance or finished piece of art, but rather on offering respect and encouragement to everyone during the process of our twirly, swirly creative fun.

Multigenerational Events 

are offered in retirement communities. where babies, young children, teens and elderly are invited to participate together. 

Karen Putnam, AKA:  

"Mrs. Dancing 

Paintbrush," 

is a dancing artist with more than 30 years experience teaching, and learning from children. 

In 1998, she founded 

Art from the Heart 

with Karen

Karen is the author/illustrator 

of two children’s books:

and 

Share with Mrs. 

Dancing Paintbrush

Printed/published and sold locally at Chaucers Bookshop, 

Santa Barbara, California

Mrs. Dancing Paintbrush was selected this year to paint a piano for

PIANOS ON STATE 2019.

Through collaboration with community and support of friends and family, Karen is blessed to offer creative fun, and is thankful for each priceless participant.
